Here between your earholes is the Booze Up and Riot commentary. I fixed the original track that for some reason didn't actually mix in the music, so this is a bit new, improved, and all that stuff.

Enjoy. 2009's This is Jizzcore parts one AND two is coming up in the next few weeks and then a NEW, ORIGINAL episode with the commentary for THE GOLDEN VAGINA OF FAME AND PROFIT.

I intended to do 2 separate podcasts-- one with Brian from The Gothsicles and one with Eric Gottesman of Everything Goes Cold, but due to time constraints and Eric showing up at the end of Brian's segment we just forged through and now this is actually part ONE of two. Eric's interview will be next week.

Enjoy.

I had to redo the opening to this because somehow it glitched, but I rock some of my favorite early-mid 90s Britpop that I hearted the hell out of and still listen to quite a bit today.

A chill return to the podcast, but the crazy will return.

If anything, I prove I know way too much about Justin Frischmann.smiley

Basically a bunch of ppl getting drunk and making fun of me and each other.

Good times...

DETOX Episode 7: Caustic's WI Protest Mix, Pt 2

Scott Walker still refuses to compromise, even though the union has offered all of the concessions he demanded. All we asked was to retain our collective bargaining rights. Scott Walker is not a leader. He serves billionaire interests like the Koch Brothers and those who represent their own "vested interests" rather than those who are the ones working to make them money. Please check out the prank call between Walker and a "Koch" brother to understand how easy it is for a billionaire to get through to our state's highest office...when half a million voices protesting are ignored.

This week's mix includes everyone from Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip to The Street Dogs to Stromkern to The Clash. Thanks for listening, and thanks for supporting the middle class workers of this country. This isn't about money. It's about having equal ground at the bargaining table. And you better believe this affects union AND non-union workers. That's why there aren't just unions out supporting this, my friends.

Unions represent working people. They aren't perfect, but they don't represent profits or stock options or billionaires. Never forget that.

Solidarity.

State workers in WI are being stripped of their rights by a man trying to make his name by busting unions, aka everyday people like you and me trying to make ends meet. WE WANT TO CONTRIBUTE MORE, but a compromise can be made so it doesn't cost people their houses and lives.

Governor Scott Walker's MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY approach is not only adversarial, it's not democratic, and because of this the people of Wisconsin are protesting. Stand with us.

Here's a mix of music I WISH they were playing at the protests, because frankly the only people inspired by any of the crap they're playing are 50 and above and MORE frankly I know I need something a little more badass- Atari Teenage Riot, Ministry, Bad Religion, OpIvy, *kaf*Caustic*kaf*, Public Enemy and beyond. Hell, even The Presets got tossed in. Not Bieber, but he doesn't write protest music.

Thanks.

I received a ridiculous amount of music this first time around and will be doing a SECOND installment of this for sure, but here are the first bunch of artists I chose, all well worth checking out: AIMONIA, HELIOSPHERE, FOR ALL THE EMPTINESS, STANDARD ISSUE CITIZEN, PROJECT 2609, CLUTCH FIST CULTURE, MEKANO46, NOETIC ECHOES, AS|OF, MUTA-SCUM, SWITCHFACE, MICROWAVED, VIRTUAL TERRORIST, & DEATHMASCHINE.

I'll be fitting even more of them into the next podcast which I'll do down the road a bit more.

Industrial punk loudmouth Caustic (aka Matt Fanale) discusses hitting rock bottom and the creation of 2010's ...AND YOU WILL KNOW ME BY THE TRAIL OF VOMIT.

Not meant to be or fun as amusing as planned upcoming episodes, but with the same attitude and honesty that will hopefully set a standard for the podcasts to come.

Thanks for checking it out.
